Depression–World Health Day – April 7, 2018

Originally posted on April 6, 2017

WHO is leading a one-year global campaign on depression. The highlight is World Health Day April 7, 2018.   Depression is the leading cause of ill health and disability worldwide. More than 300 million people are now living with depression, an increase of more than 18% between 2005 and 2015. Lack of sustainable health care for those who suffer is a major risk factor for increasing suicide rates.  Protect our families.   Get more information at: www.who.in/campaing/world-health-day/2018
